同学们在GMAT句子改错的做题过程中，常常关注点都放在考试中相较出的题目比较多的考点上，比如平行考点，比较考点，代词，修饰考点等，这个思路是正确的，不过大家有没有发现有的时候这些考点是没有问题的，但是这个选项还是错了呢？这时候同学们是否有许多问号呢？？？广州申友GMAT Sofia老师来给大家解答一下，可能大家都忽略了时态这个问题，比如说下面这道题：

 At the end of 2001, motion picture industry representatives said that there were about a million copies of Hollywood movies available online and expected privacy to increase with high-speed Internet connections that become more widely available.

A. online and expected privacy to increase with high-speed Internet connections that become more widely available

B. online and expect the increase of privacy with the wider availability of high-speed Internet connections

C. online, and that they expect more privacy to increase with the wider availability of high-speed Internet connections

D. online, and that they expected the increase of privacy as high-speed Internet connections would become more widely available

E. online, and that they expected privacy to increase as high-speed Internet connections became more widely available

解析：平行考点没有问题的同学是可以排除掉AB选项的，然后就开始在CDE选项里面对比纠结语义的差异，有的同学可能会一冲动选C选项对吧，觉得C选项的句子结构和原句比较相似，都是with结构，那这里同学们就落入GMAC老头的陷阱咯，同时也就出现了广州申友GMAT Sofia老师今天要讲的时态的第一个考点：主从句时态一致，看到Sofia老师标红的said了嘛，所以直接排除C选项。然后到了最后一步，是D还是E呢，时态都对呀，是标红处的名词结构和不定式结构的问题吗？？确实他俩语义是有区别的，但是在做题的最后几秒去纠结这个细微的语义差别，风险比较大哦，这里Sofia老师用GMAT常考的第二个时态的考点去做，就十分简单了~看到老师标蓝的as了嘛，时间状语从句呀，要用一般时态表将来时态哦，所以直接排除D选项，好了，这道题目用时态解是不是很简单呢（补充一点，条件状语从句也是一般时态表将来哦）
