OG作为备考GMAT的指定教材，是同学一定要好好钻研的一本材料。每年新版本的OG都会新增和删减部分题目，新增的题目能帮助大家更好的把握新一年的出题思路和方向，在今年的OG21中，SC部分新增了31题，里面涉及到最多的考点还是平行和比较考点，今天广州申友GMAT Sofia老师选了3道比较有代表性的题目，给大家解读下新一年的出题趋势。

带同学们看其中3题相对复杂的题目。

例题1：

1. Satellite radio transmissions, a popular feature in car stereos, differ from those of AM and FM radio, which is sent directly from earthbound towers and then to a car stereo.

A. which is sent directly from earthbound towers and then to a car

B. which are sent directly from earthbound towers to a car's

C. sent from earthbound towers and then directly to a car

D. sending them directly from earthbound towers to a car's

E. being sent directly from earthbound towers to a car

考点：平行 修饰

解析：

A选项：根据定从的is，修饰AM and FM radio，单复数不一致。

B选项：根据定从的are ，which定从修饰AM and FM radio，正确。

C选项：from...to...中间的and then 冗余

D选项：，sending from...现在分词短语做状语修饰谓语动词differ，其逻辑主语，也就是主句主语Satellite radio transmissions不能主动的发出这个动作。

E选项：错同C，且being冗余。

关于CD选项，要提醒同学们分词结构做定语修饰名词，做状语修饰动词，逗号+现在分词短语，只可以做状语，而过去分词没有这个限制。

例题2

2. Just like the Internet today, often being called an “information superhighway,” the telegraph was described in its day as an “instantaneous highway of thought.”

A. Just like the Internet today, often being

B. Just as the Internet is today often

C. As with the Internet being today often

D. As is often the case today with the internet,

考点：比较

解析：

AC选项：being冗余。

B选项：正确，两种情况的比较。

D选项：As is often the case today with语义不合理，讲的是was described in its day as an “instantaneous highway of thought.”同一种情况适用于两者the Internet和the telegraph。例：As is the case with traditional pharmacies, prescriptions are the cornerstone of a successful on-line drugstore

E选项：错同D

例题3

3. As opposed to adults, pound for pound, children breathe twice as much air, drink two and a half times as much water, eat three to four times as much food, and have more skin surface area.

A. As opposed to adults, pound for pound, children

B. Compared pound for pound with adults, children

C. Unlike an adult, pound for pound, children

D. Pound for pound, a child, unlike an adult, will

E. Pound for pound, children compared to adults will

考点：比较

解析：

A选项：as opposed to 是（表对比），与...相对，而不是的语义，而根据后面的语义，twice as much，这里需要的是比较的含义，而不单单是对比，就比如：我有玫瑰花，而她有茉莉花。

B选项：正确。

C选项：pound for pound，修饰的应该是比较的程度，这里变成插入语，有补充说明adult的歧义。

DE选项：will时态错误。

总结一哈，Sofia老师把OG21新增的31题做了一遍之后，其实并没有感觉GMAT的出题有多大的变化，都是一些换汤不换药的变体题，考察的核心知识点和方法还是没有变的。刚开始备考的同学可以入手OG21，已经有OG20的同学没有必要专门买一本OG21，把新题补充一下就行了。
